Along with providing excellent lawn care, Woody's has a fertilization program to get or keep your lawn in tiptop shape. The Five Step Program is designed to keep your lawn healthy and growing throughout the whole year.
Five Step Program
Early Spring
The first step is designed to promote greening from winter stress and control weeds, as well as crabgrass preventative.
Spring
In the second step, nutrients are applied to maintain the color and density of your lawn.
Beginning of Summer
The third step prepares your lawn for the summer heat, adding growth fertilizer and treating it for surface insects. At this time, we also apply broadleaf sprays to kill any weeds.
Late Summer
The fourth step of fertilizer continues to maintain color and growth. Also, if grubs are present, we can treat them.
Winterize
The final step is to prepare your lawn for the cold winters. This fertilizer maintains the root system and helps food storage to keep your lawn healthy for the following spring.
Of course, you don't have to follow the Five Step Program. Any or all of these steps can be used to maintain the lawn you desire.
